Sand Striped Pyjama Pants

I once had a dream about being lost in a desert. I wandered around for hours, sweat dripping on my back, no water to cure my thirst. I started hallucinating and I heard the grains of sand talking to me. “You’re the chosen one,” they said. “You’re the one to guide us to the light.” And so I did. I guided all those grains of sand to the light. And then we became one. Sand and I, I and the sand. I was the sand. You know what I mean?
